Incoming Students: Your last days at the university

Your stay at the university is coming to an end, but... do you really want to leave? For us you are now part of our community. Stay on!

We know that our climate and setting are irresistible, and if you add in the wide selection of degrees, masters, postgrad courses and constant teaching and research innovation, you get Spain's number two university for scientific production and number eight for teaching. We want you to continue learning with us.

This is why we encourage you to look at our courses and continue to grow alongside your new family.

You will always be UIB.

Come and see us over summer

Do you need any more reasons to come and see us? The UIB organises the Summer University programme every year offering short courses and the most up-to-date syllabus to continue your learning, broaden your mind and not lose your ties to the Balearic Islands.

Don't forget to bring a bathing suit and we'll see you on our paradise island in summer!

What to do before you leave?

The greatest difficulty you're likely to have during the last days of your stay at the UIB will be saying goodbye: to your friends, colleagues, lecturers and the unique atmosphere on campus. Once you accept that one of the best experiences of your life is coming to an end, you will need to follow three steps:

  1. Pick up your academic record at the corresponding admin services
  2. Request the certificate of your stay from the SRI
  3. Pick up the language course certificates and other documents you need.

For us, you are a member of our wonderful family. We will stay in contact over the website, where you will find all the latest news from the UIB, and our social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

Thank you for helping to create the UIB.
