In order to be awarded the master's degree, students shall take 60 credits as follows:

• 42 from mandatory subjects which will be taught in live online sessions to all enrolled students
• 9 from External Academic Placements undertaken at health centres and coordinated by healthcare social workers in the course of their professional duties, alongside lecturers in social work and social services at the participating universities
• 6 from the Master’s Thesis, with face-to-face supervision.

The total number of credits for the programme is split equally between all participating universities. In this sense, each university teaches a total of 7.5 credits. Online platforms and computer systems at the University of Valencia will be used to run lectures.

Students who successfully complete the programme and pay the relevant fee will be awarded a Master’s Degree in Social Work in Health Care from all participating universities. The University of Valencia is responsible for issuing the degree certificate.
