The programme curriculum comprises a total of 90 ECTS credits and includes the following modules:

The core module is worth six (6) credits and comprises two subjects worth three (3) ECTS credits each:

  • Scientific Foundations in Health Psychology
  • Professional Foundations in Health Psychology.

There are three (3) specific modules worth 14 credits each. In this sense, there will be no elective subjects since the core and specific modules amount to 48 credits in total:

  • Specific module 1 is Assessment and Diagnosis in Health Psychology
  • Specific module 2 is Intervention in Health Psychology
  • Finally, specific module 3 is Core Skill Training in General Health Psychology.

The master's programme also includes External Placements and the Master's Thesis. External placements are worth 30 ECTS credits and the master's thesis is worth 12.

In short, students must pass 90 credits in order to be awarded the degree, as follows:

  • 48 credits from mandatory subjects
Second year
  • 30 credits from the External Placements
  • 12 credits from the Master's Thesis.
