The Degree in Fine Art provides students with learning experiences to equip them with the necessary skills for artistic creation across different disciplines. Moreover, students will learn how to come up with creative and innovative solutions to challenges in different areas, whilst combining traditional and cutting-edge techniques.

- Plastic and visual arts, such as drawing, painting, sculpture, graphic art, photography, video art, animation, audiovisual and multimedia production, public art, net.art, etc.
- Painting, sculpture and related media such as curating and organising exhibitions, stage design, travelling exhibitions, three-dimensional simulation and, to an ever-increasing degree, designing theme parks in the leisure and tourism industry
- Traditional painting and new areas such as media art, graphic printing and electronic art in general
- Content creation as executives in all sorts of businesses
- Graphic, industrial, furniture and ephemeral design
- Digital imaging, and new technologies and digital media, such as video production, video art, digital art, three-dimensional sculpture, animation, and video and photography (advertising, documentary, cinematography, etc.)
- Cinema and TV production
- Teaching art in high schools and on VET courses, as well as in other cultural spaces and non-formal education, such as learning hubs at museums, creative workshops at public and private institutions and companies, cooperation for development activities, etc.
- Working as specialists in technical drawing for industry and advertising, and illustrating comics, cartoons, anime, etc.
- Art management, curating exhibitions, managing and designing institutional exhibitions, running art galleries and, in general, cultural management and artistic consulting, including writing and editing art publications
- Participating in interdisciplinary projects, including engineering and construction, tech development, environmental management, town and country planning, urbanism, heritage restoration, etc.
Travel and Learn
The UIB offers students the chance to take part in different exchange and mobility programmes:
- Exchange and mobility programmes: to complete part of your studies at another university in Spain, the European Union, and around the world, or to get work experience at businesses in the European Union, managed by the International Relations Service.
- Volunteer work experience and projects with university development cooperation programmes in least developed countries, run through the development cooperation programmes managed by the Cooperation for Development and Solidarity Office (OCDS).
