The degree in Food and Agriculture Engineering and the Rural Environment leads students towards obtaining approval to practice as an agricultural technical engineer.
The programme aims are set out in Order CIN/323/2009, of 9th February (BOE no. 43, of 19th February 2009, since this profession is regulated by law.
What skills will you acquire?
Some of the more important competences that students will acquire in this programme include: knowledge of all basic and applied areas necessary for practicing agricultural engineering; the ability to draft and study projects related to gardening, landscaping, and agriculture; management skills for directing such projects; and the ability to manage and run companies in this sector.

- An ability for analysis, summarising and problem-solving in a technical setting
- An ability to take decisions in multi-disciplinary settings
- An interest in food and agricultural, and landscape engineering
