Application, access and admission

Access: list of students with pending amendments

The Centre for Postgraduate Studies will review all applications that have been correctly formalised. Should the pre-registration have any defect either in form or in content, the CEP will send an email to the student informing him/her that s/he has to amend it, indicating the relevant deadline.

In addition, once the Master's degree pre-registration period has expired, the CEP will publish the list of students with pending amendments on this website, along with the relevant deadlines. Applications that have not been amended by the time the deadline expires will not be assessed.

The CEP will then assess all applications, and verify that the applicants meet all access requirements (i.e. that their degree entitles them to gain admission to a Master's degree in accordance with current legislation), and will send them an email with the resolution. The following access requirements will be taken into account.

You may consult all the lists in the Listings section of this webpage.

Access: resolution

The requirements for access to university Master's degree courses are set out in Royal Decree 861/2010, of 2nd July, which amends Royal Decree 1393/2007, of 29th October, which establishes the organisation of official university education [html (es)].

In order to be eligible for an official Master's degree programme, applicants must have an official Spanish undergraduate degree or another degree issued by a higher education institution from another state within the European Higher Education Area that allows for the holder to access Master's degree programmes.

If the access resolution is positive, the CEP will inform the student and forward the pre-registration application to the Academic Committee of the Master's degree, so that the student’s admission to the degree can be assessed and resolved.

If the access resolution is negative, the procedure comes to an end and the student has the right to file the corresponding appeals. For more information, please contact the CEP.
