Deadline Period for Requesting Credit Recognition

Credit recognition for university studies:

  • New students admitted in the general undergraduate admission call and returning students: please check the following link
  • Students admitted in the call to change programme and/or university, and those with partial studies from overseas: please check the deadline in the call.

Credit recognition for university activities

This may be requested at any point during the academic year at admin services. Appointment required.

Credit recognition for higher VET studies

This may be requested at any point in the academic year over UIBdigital.

Enrolment Recommendations if Requesting Credit Recognition

  • If credit recognition is not finalised during the enrolment deadline period for your admission list, you need to formalise enrolment to guarantee your spot
  • In this sense, you can enrol for the full year or just the minimum mandatory credits. Nonetheless, in order to comply with the Academic Regulations and Academic Progress Regulations, you may have to enrol on subjects where you have requested credit recognition
  • When recognition is finalised, admin services will automatically cancel any recognised subjects
  • We therefore recommend you select direct debit payment by instalments.
