How many credits and subjects do you need to take?

Returning students are not required to take a minimum number of credits.

However, be aware that you at least need to enrol for the number of credits required to fulfill the academic progress regulations and your centre's requirements regarding your degree programme, and that, in order to take subjects from subsequent years:

  • you need to have passed or enrol for all core training subjects from previous years
  • you need to have passed or enrol for all mandatory subjects and external placements pending from previous years. At most, you can have 12 credits pending in total
  • in exceptional circumstances, the dean or school director may authorise you to enrol for elective subjects from subsequent years without the need to fulfill the conditions set out in the previous point.

Please check how any exceptional measures linked to the academic progress regulations may affect you.

The enrolment process includes a counter to help you keep count of the number of credits and subjects where you have enrolled.
