How to get to university (Palma, Minorca and Ibiza)
There are various combinations of bus, train and/or underground connections to the university, depending on your place of departure. Remember to check the timetables regularly, as they change on the weekend, and during breaks and summer
Bus
The no. 19 bus connects Palma to the univerity campus. There are also inter-urban buses that run between the UIB and other towns in Majorca. Lines L202 (Estellencs-Esporles-Palma) and L203 (Port de Sóller-Valldemossa-Palma) both stop at the campus.
If you are in Minorca or Ibiza, you can also reach the university sites there by bus.
Underground
The M1 metro line links Palma city centre to the campus.
Train
The different train lines in Majorca (Inca, Sa Pobla, Manacor) and the Sóller train offer combinations with other means of transport to get to the campus. They all terminate at Plaça d'Espanya in Palma.
Bicycle
There is a 5km bike lane from Palma to the UIB campus.
Carpool
If you prefer to use private transport but would like to help the environment and save money, try the UIB Carpool. There are also other transport pools at Palma City Council and the Island Council of Majorca.
