Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Girona (2013), Master's Degree in Clinical Neuropsychology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2016), Postgraduate Degree in Technology Transfer from the UPF Barcelona School of Management (2021) and Doctoral Degree from the Autonomous University of Barcelona within the PhD Programme in Psychiatry (2021).

Qualified as a General Health Psychologist by the Department of Health of the Government of Catalonia (2015) and accredited as an Expert Psychologist in Clinical Neuropsychology by the General Council of Psychology of Spain (2018). Psychologist registered in the Official College of Psychology of the Balearic Islands (B-03407). Member of the Catalan Society of Neuropsychology and the Catalan Society of Psychiatry and Mental Health.

Assistant Professor in the area of Psychiatry at the Department of Medicine of the University of the Balearic Islands and researcher of the High Prevalence Mental Disorders Research Group at the Research Institute of Health Sciences and at the Health Research Institute of the Balearic Islands. Since 2018, researcher attached to the CIBER of Respiratory Diseases of the Carlos III Health Institute. Since 2016, collaborating lecturer in Health Sciences Studies at the Open University of Catalonia.

Between 2016 and 2021, researcher in the Affective Disorders and Cognitive Neuroscience Research Group at the Parc Taulí Research and Innovation Institute, recognised by the AGAUR (2017/SGR/1292, PI Narcís Cardoner, MD, PhD) and the CIBER of Mental Health (CB19/09/00029, PI Diego Palao, MD, PhD). His doctoral thesis, presented as a compendium of publications and rated Excellent Cum laude, studied group and sex differences in social cognition among people with schizophrenia, people with bipolar disorder and healthy people. During this period he also participated in projects focused on the study of the neurostructural and neurofunctional bases of human behaviour using biological, neuroimaging and neuropsychological techniques, with a special interest in refractory forms of unipolar depression and suicidal behaviour.

Between 2018 and 2023, researcher in the Translational Research group in Physiopathology Associated with the Critically Ill at the Parc Taulí Research and Innovation Institute, recognised by AGAUR (2017/SGR/955, PI Lluís Blanch, MD, PhD; 2021/SGR/01376/GRC, PI Candelaria de Haro, MD, PhD) and the CIBER of Respiratory Diseases (CB06/06/1097, PI Lluís Blanch, MD, PhD). His line of research focused on the study of cognitive and mental health alterations affecting critically ill patients during and after admission to the intensive care unit, with a special interest in the impact of delirium and mechanical ventilation.

Between 2022 and 2023, researcher in the High Prevalence Mental Disorders Research Group at the Research Institute of Health Sciences at the University of the Balearic Islands (PIs Miquel Roca, MD, PhD, and Margalida Gili, MSc, PhD), linked both to projects focused on the study of human behaviour in patients with unipolar depression and suicidal behaviour and to projects shared with the Parc Taulí Research and Innovation Institute focused on the study of cognitive and mental health sequelae associated with post-intensive care syndrome.

Throughout his career, he has participated in more than 30 book chapters and scientific articles, most of them published in international journals indexed in the first and second quartile in the areas of psychiatry, psychology, neurosciences and intensive care. He has also participated in more than 7 competitive research projects as principal investigator, co-principal investigator and collaborating researcher. Inventor of the Early Neurocognitive Rehabilitation in Intensive Care software.
