Associate professor in the Department of Applied Economics at the Universitat de les Illes Balears (UIB). PhD in economics from the Université Catholique de Louvain and stays as visiting professor or post-doctoral at the University of Luxembourg, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Universidade Federal Fluminense and the Université de Cergy-Pontoise.Teaching experience in econometrics, financial econometrics, time series and applied economics, both in bachelor's and master's degrees.His research is focused on econometrics, more specifically on financial econometrics and dependency models. His work has been published in international journals such as the Journal of Financial Econometrics, the Journal of Multivariate Analysis and the Scandinanvian Journal of Statistics, as well as contributions to books.
