Born in 1972 in Palma (Mallorca, Spain), Rafel Cladera Bohigas is an industrial engineer (MSc) by the Barcelona School of Industrial Engineering (ETSEIB) at the Politechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) and master in European & International Business Management by the joint programme of University of Deusto (Bilbao, Basque Country) and the Audencia Business School (Nantes, France).
Currently, he is an associate lecturer in the Department of Business Economics and the Department of Industrial Engineering and Construction at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB). He has also taught at the Technical University of Kaiserlautern (Germany).
In the private sector, he has served manufacturing and installation companies concerned with energy equipment and building automation, in which he has held executive posts in Majorca and outside the Spanish State.
He has developed language skills in German (C2), English (C1) and French (B2+), besides his first languages, Catalan (C2) and Spanish.
