Brief CV
Margalida Pizarro Sirera is a part-time lecturer in English at the University of the Balearic Islands' Department of Spanish, Modern and Classical Philologies. Pizarro Sirera holds a BA in English Studies from the UIB (2014-2018). She holds a double Master's degree in Modern Languages and Literatures from the Università degli Studi dell'Aquila (Italy) and the UIB (2019).
Her main lines of research are: 1) critical discourse analysis; 2) cultural studies; and 3) gender studies. She investigates on Donald Trump's discourse, Twitter, and the development of stereotyped ideology on gender.
