Elpiniki Bakaouka is a visiting assistant professor at the Department of Business Economics. Previously, she was a visiting assistant professor in the Department of Economics at the University Carlos III in Madrid. Elpiniki received her PhD in International and European Economic Studies from Athens University of Economics and Business. Her research interests lie in the fields of industrial organization, economics of innovation, competition policy and game theory. She has published articles in international academic journals such as the International Journal of Industrial Organization. She has presented in many national and international conferences and has participated in various research projects. She has served as a reviewer for many academic journals. Her teaching experience includes a number of courses at the undergraduate level, both at the University of the Balearic Islands and the University of Carlos III in Madrid, while her postgraduate teaching experience includes courses in the UAB-UPNA-UIB inter-university Master of Science in Management, Organization and Business Economics program.
