PhD by the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Doctoral Program in Electrical and Computer Engineering (2014); and Degree in Aeronautical Management, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (2010). Researcher at The Innaxis Foundation & Research Institute (2008-2017), and postdoctoral researcher at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (2017-2020). Currently Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Cross-Disciplinary Physics and Complex Systems IFISC (UIB-CSIC). PI of the ERC Starting Grant ARCTIC. 100+ published papers in scientific journals. Main research areas: complex networks, air transportation, biomedical data analysis.
