Born in Barcelona (1974). Currently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Economics at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) since 2008. Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business and Head of Studies in the Degree in Economics of the UIB from 2009 to 2016.

Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (1996) and PhD in Economics from the Universitat d'Alacant (2003). Teaching experience in several studies at the Universitat d'Alacant (1997-2003), Universidad de Granada (2004), Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (2004-2006), Universidad of Guanajuato, Mexico (2006-2008) and UIB (2008 - ). Researcher at the Center for Financial Studies at the Goethe Universität in Frankfurt, Germany (2003-2004) .

The latest subjects taught at the UIB are Industrial Organization (also in English) in the Degree in Economics and direction of the end of the degree project. Researcher specializing in issues related to Industrial Organization and more specifically in the antitrust area. His works have been published in several journal like International Journal of Industrial Organization, Spanish Economic Review, Economic Research, Journal of Economics, Journal of Industry, Competition and Trade or Economics Bulletin. He has participated in several competitive research projects and is now part of the project 'Conflicto e influencia estratégica: Los efectos de la actividades de captación de rentas en las decisiones colectivas' funded by the Spanish Ministry of Economy.
