Degree in Psychology from the Universitat de les Illes Balears (2013). Master's degree in sports psychology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2014). PhD in Health and Sport Psychology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2018).

I'm visiting professor at the Universitat de les Illes Balears since 2022. During the period 2018-2022, I was an associate professor in the Degree in Psychology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and also in the Degree in Physical Activity Sciences and the Sport of the Escola Universitària de la Salut i l'Esport (EUSES). During the period 2014-18 I had a PhD fellowship from the Spanish Ministry of Education (FPU) at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

I am a member of the Grup d'Estudis en Psicologia de l'Esport (GEPE), and of the Institut de Recerca en l'Esport (IRE), both research groups of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. My main research line is focused on the study of different personal and environmental factors that influence athletes' psychological well-being. More specifically, my research has focused on the study of emotional regulation strategies, competencies in combining studies and sport, and the perceived support from the athlete's environment (parents, coaches, club). This research included both amateur and high-performance athletes. In the field of physical education, I have also collaborated in different research projects aimed at improving the quality of student motivation towards physical practice. Overall, I have participated in 5 international projects and 2 national projects, related to these topics, having published more than 10 articles in indexed journals. At the applied level, I collaborate with different clubs and sport institutions interested in integrating sports psychology into their way of working.

My teaching experience includes an intensive teaching activity during the last 8 years. I taught an introductory Psychology subject in Sports sciences, and different subjects related with the basic psychological processes (e.g., Thought and Language, Attention and Perception, Motivation and Emotion) in the Psychology. In addition, I have participated in two Teaching Innovation Projects, being the PI of one of them.

Personally, I am an enthusiastic, opened to new ideas, and available to collaborating on new projects.
