Brief CV

Born in Umeĺ, Sweden (1975). Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Economics at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) since 2009. PhD in Economics from the University of Umeĺ, Sweden (2005).

Teaching experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate level at the University of Umeĺ and the University of the Balearic Islands. Latest subjects taught are 'Analysis of Economic Data' , 'Microeconometrics' and 'Statistical learning and decision making' (Master level).

He is specializing in micro econometrics, particularly nonparametric models, and labour economics with studies on inequality of opportunity, mobility and poverty dynamics. He has published in various journals of national and international level as, for example, Review of Income and Wealth, Journal of Economic inequality, Labour Economics, Papers in Regional Science, Water Resources Research, International Journal of Hospitality Management and International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management.

He has participated in various nationally competitive research projects, funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation. He has also participated in teaching innovation projects.
