    Brief CV

    Born in Umeň, Sweden (1975). Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Economics at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) since 2009. PhD in Economics from the University of Umeň, Sweden (2005).

    Teaching experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate level at the University of Umeň and the University of the Balearic Islands. Latest subjects taught are 'Analysis of Economic Data' in the Degree of Economics and Degree of Business and Administration, 'Microeconometrics' in the Degree of Economics and 'Econometrics' in the Masters of Economics of Tourism and Environment of the UIB.

    He is specializing in micro econometrics, particularly nonparametric models, and labour economics with studies on inequality of opportunity, mobility and poverty dynamics. He has published in various journals of national and international level as, for example, Review of Income and Wealth, Labour: Review of Labour Economics and Industrial Relations, Statistics and Probability Letters and EstadÝstica Espa˝ola.

    He has participated in various nationally competitive research projects, funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation. He has also participated in teaching innovation projects.
