Brief CV

Miguel C. Soriano (Miguel Cornelles Soriano) holds a tenured scientist position at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and is a member of the Institute for Cross-Disciplinary Physics and Complex Systems (IFISC), which is a joint center of the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) and the CSIC. His main research interests include the experimental and theoretical study of semiconductor lasers subject to delayed optical feedback, and the experimental characterization and theoretical modeling of the synchronization properties of semiconductor lasers in the chaotic regime. Additional research lines cover topics such as information processing based on reservoir computing and nonlinear dynamics.
