Tenured Contract Senior Lecturer in the Area of Physical Geography at the Department of Geography, Universitat de les Illes Balears (UIB). Consolidated Researcher at the Observatory of Natural Risks and Emergencies of the Balearic Islands (RiscBal).

I hold a Degree in Geography (2015, Universitat de les Illes Balears). During my final year, I was awarded a competitive grant for collaboration with university departments to promote research initiation. This allowed me to develop the project "Use of hyperspectral aerial imagery in combination with radioisotopic techniques: evaluation of the impact of forest fires on sediment transfer in a drainage catchment of Pariatge, Mallorca."

I completed a Master's Degree in Environmental Change: Analysis and Management (2016, University of Girona - Institute of Environmental Science, IMA) and a Postgraduate Course in University Teaching Techniques (2020, Universitat de les Illes Balears).

I earned my Ph.D. in Geography (2021, Universitat de les Illes Balears) under a University Teacher Training contract (FPU; Ministry of Education, Culture, and Sports - FPU15/05239). My thesis, "Sediment fingerprinting and hydro-sedimentary monitoring as tools for catchment management in Mediterranean environments," received an Excellent Cum Laude distinction with an international mention.

During my Ph.D., I completed two three-month research stays (six months in total) at the Luxembourg Institute for Science and Technology (LIST), Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg, funded by competitive grants from the Secretary of State for Universities, Research, Development, and Innovation.

I have taught a total of 913 hours: 871 hours in the Geography, Biology, and Early Childhood Education degree programs at the Universitat de les Illes Balears, and 42 hours internationally—30 hours as part of a cooperation project with the Université Sultan Moulay Slimane (Morocco) and 12 hours through the Erasmus+ KA107 program.

My research output includes 23 articles in scientific journals, 20 of which are indexed in the Journal Citation Reports (16 in first-quartile (Q1) journals and 4 in second-quartile (Q2) journals), as well as 3 book chapters and 2 article in a scientific outreach journal. I have presented 49 oral presentations or posters at national and international conferences. Additionally, I have participated as a researcher in twelve national and European projects.
