PhD in Physics, Universidad de Cantabria, Santander, Spain (2002). Postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oporto (2002-2004) and Emory University, Atlanta, USA (2004-2006). Staff researcher at the ISI Foundation, Turin, Italy (2006-2010). Ramon y Cajal fellow at the UIB (2011-2016), Distinguidhed Researcher and Staff Scientist of CSIC (2016-present) associated to the Institute for Cross-Disciplinary Physics and Complex Systems IFISC (CSIC-UIB). Visiting professor at the Université Aix-Marseille, France. 100+ published papers in scientific journals. Speaker at 50+ conferences. Main research areas: complex networks, transport systems.
