Brief CV
Antònia Juan Vicens, PhD in History of Art by the University of the Balearic Islands. She was awarded a scholarship for the Training of Research Staff (2006-2010) and since 2011 she has been working as a teacher in the Department of Historical Sciences and Theory of Art at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB). She has participated in state-funded R&D research projects. Her fields of research focus on Gothic architectural sculpture and on the guild of stone craftsmen. She is the author of Lapiscida vel ymaginarius. L'art de la pedra a Mallorca a la Baixa Edat Mitjana (Publicacions Abadia de Montserrat, Barcelona, 2014) and L'escultura arquitectònica del segle XV a Mallorca (Olañeta, 2019). She has published articles in scientific journals and has participated in national and international conferences and seminars. She has carried out research stays in: Università degli Studi di Cagliari (2013), Università degli Studi di Padova (2013) and Centre d'Études Supérieures de Civilisation Médiévale (Université de Poitiers - CNRS, 2015). She is a member of the Research Group in Medieval Studies (GRESMED) of the UIB.
