Education and career:
Degree in Geography (2006) from the University of the Balearic Islands with extraordinary award. Postgraduate degree in planning and sustainable management of tourist destinations (2007) from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Master in planning and management of coastal areas (2012) and PhD in Geography (2016) by the University of the Balearic Islands. Master's degree in teacher training (2017) from the National University of Distance Education. Professor of the Department of Geography at the University of the Balearic Islands since the academic year 2013-2014. Teaching experience in undergraduate and master's degree at national and international level.
Research and research groups:
My research focuses on studying tourism, mainly from a territorial and socio-cultural perspective. I currently participate in several projects and I am a member of the research team of different research groups such as the Demographic and Tourism Studies Group (GEDIT) and the Interdisciplinary Mobility Observatory of the Balearic Islands (OIMO-IB). In addition, I collaborate with the Research Group on Tourism, Mobility and Territory of the University of the Balearic Islands (GITMOT) and the Research Group on Business Law and Tourism Activity (DEAT).
