BA degree in History (2005), MA degree (2007) and European Ph.D. in prehistory and archaeology (2011) by the University of Granada (Spain). Currently, he is Senior Lecturer in Prehistory, Maritime Heritage and Didactics of Social Sciences at the University of the Balearic Islands (Spain). He was also secretary of the Department of Historical Sciences and Arts Theory and formerly vice-Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, where he has been teaching since 2011.Visiting research fellow in the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC, 2006), The British Museum (2007), University of Ghana (2011, 2012, 2013), Department of Archaeology University of Sheffield (2012), Ghana Museums and Monuments Board (2014) and University College London Qatar (2016).Member of the Research Group in Material Culture and Archaeological Heritage management (ArqueoUIB) he has participated in several R+D scientific projects, european projects and archaeological excavations abroad projects (Ministry of Culture, Spain). He is also member of the Laboratorio di Preistoria e Archeologia Sperimentale (Department of History and Human Science, University of Sassari, Italy).Research interests: Social technology, archaeology, anthropology, autoarchaeoetnography, analysis and interpretation of material culture, maritime studies and heritage management.
