Graduated in Chemistry from the University of the Balearic Islands in 2011. After graduating, he took a Master's Degree in Chemical Science and Technology at the UIB. In 2012 he obtained a FPI-CAIB pre-doctoral scholarship and began his doctoral thesis in the Supramolecular Chemistry research group (SUPRAMOL), obtaining the degree of Doctor of Chemical Science and Technology, in the area of ​​Organic Chemistry, from the University of the Balearic Islands in September 2017. In this way, a period of seven years of uninterrupted research in the field of experimental Organic Chemistry concluded. In October 2017 he joined the Quality Department of the company Quely S.A. as Deputy Quality Manager, where he worked for 3 years. He simultaneously began his teaching career at the UIB as an associate professor in the Department of Chemistry, while continuing to participate in research activities as a Collaborating Researcher. In September 2020, Dr. López joined Adema University School as a collaborating professor in the Nutrition degree. A month later he became involved full time in the company as Quality Manager and Professor, while continues with his work as associate professor at the UIB.

He is the author of 6 indexed scientific publications, in addition to 3 contributions to relevant national and international conferences, having participated in 6 national projects financed in public calls.
