Dr. Vich is an Assistant lecturer with a PhD at the University of the Balearic Islands and teaches in the studies of the Faculty of Sciences. With over 15 years of research experience in meteorology, she has specialized in diagnosing hazardous meteorological phenomena in the Mediterranean. She has published 8 articles on this topic in journals indexed in the Journal Citation Reports and has presented over 20 contributions at internationally recognized congresses. With 4 years of experience in the private sector, she worked with climate models applied to the study of the impact of climate change globally, regionally, and locally. She has extensive experience in managing high-performance computer systems, programming, and meteorological numerical models such as CM1, WRF, and MM5. Additionally, she participates in teaching research projects and conducts outreach activities.
