Andrés Juan Serra


Brief CV


Agricultural engineer, speciality in Crop Protection, for the University of Lleida (UDL, 1997).

He is currently the head of Agricultural Service of the Directorate General of Rural and Marine Affairs of the Ministry of Agriculture, Environment and Territory of the Government of the Balearic Islands, where manages the fields of plant production, plant health and experimentation and agricultural research. He is member representing the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands in Jury Compulsory Expropriation of the Balearic Islands.

He is co-author of several scientific publications in the field of plant health and has participated in several research projects INIA. He has coordinated more than 10 scholarships of applied investigation of the Ministry of Agriculture and has directed several final projects and final degree of the UIB.


He has been a teacher associated of Technical Agricultural Engineer of the subjects Technology of the Horticultural Production and Horticultural Crops and Ornamental. In the degree of Agricultural Engineering he has taught the subjects Plant Pathology and Bases of Crop Protection.
