Lydia received her degree in Psychology from the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB).
She has completed the Itinerary of Clinical Psychology at the UIB.
She took the Master in Multidisciplinary Intervention for: Eating Disorders, Personality Disorders and Emotional Disorders at the University of Valencia.
She is an expert in Quality of life Intervention for seniors graduating from the Distance Education University (UNED).
She is accredited as a General Health Psychologist.
She has worked as an expert in the Chair of Dependency Care and Promotion of Personal Autonomy from 2008 to 2013.
She has coordinated the Master in Dependency Care and Gerontology at the UIB.
She works as a psychotherapist at the Institut Clínic Manacor (Juaneda Network) since 2010.
She is the secretary of the annual report of aging at the UIB since 2009.
Her main research interests centre on the following: gender violence in older women, older people in the media and prevention and intervention in eating disorders.
