    Brief CV

    Dr. Maria de Carmen Rotger, lecturer in Organic Chemistry at the Chemistry Department since 2007 joined the Supramolecular Research Group in 2000 aftera a postdoctoralperiod at C. A. Hunter's Group at the University Of Shefield. Her research comprisses the study of supramolecular interactions, especially the interactions of cations and anions with aromatic systems and the recognition of anionic species with squamide based receptors. During the last years, she has focused her research on the study of the conformational properties of squaramide compounds and the evaluation of their biological activity as antitumor, antiparasitic or transport agents.

    She has been granted four teaching five-years periods and three research six-year periods.
