Brief CV

PhD in Physics, University Autonomous of Madrid (2002), and MA in Hispanic Philology (UNED, 2014). Postdoctoral researcher at the University of Geneva (2002-2004). Ramon y Cajal fellow (2005-2008). Full professor since 2021. Faculty member of the Institute for Cross-Disciplinary Physics and Complex Systems IFISC (UIB-CSIC) and the Physics Department (UIB). Visiting scholar at the universities of Indiana, Texas, California, Stanford and ETH Zürich. 100+ published papers in scientific journals. Speaker at 60+ conferences. Main research areas: nanophysics, quantum thermodynamics and language variation.
