Brief CV
Lucrecia Rallo Fabra is a tenure-track Associate Professor at the Dept. of Spanish, Modern and Classic Philologies of the University of the Balearic Islands. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree in English Philology from the University of Barcelona in 1993. She also holds a Master's degree in Rehabilitation of Language and Speech Disorders from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (2002) and a PhD in Linguistics from the University of Barcelona (2005). She has developed her academic career at various Higher Education Institutions, including the University of Barcelona, Universitat Ramon Llull and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Her research interests include cross-language speech perception and production and foreign language learning. She has published her research outcomes in different high-rank international journals indexed in Journal Citation Reports and Scopus, such as, Estudios de Fonética Experimental, Clinical Linguistics and Phonetics, Journal of Phonetics or Phonetica. She has been appointed Visiting Fellow at various leading international institutions, including the Biocommunication Speech Laboratory (University of Alabama at Birmingham), Dept. of Linguistics (University of California at Berkeley), Dept. of Linguistics (University of Oregon), MARCS Institute (University of Western Sydney), Centre of Excellence in Cognition and its Disorders (Macquaire University). She has also given invited lectures in some of these institutions.
