Brief CV

Degree in Mathematics from the University of Valencia in 1988 and PhD from the University of Barcelona in 2000.

Professor at the University of Valencia (1 year) and the Autonomous University of Barcelona (8 years). Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the UIB. He has taught over 15 courses spread over 10 different studies.

The research is focused on the Qualitative Theory of Ordinary Differential Equations with emphasis on phase portraits, and bifurcations of piecewise linear differential equations and its applications to neuroscience. He is member of the research group Dynamical Systems UIB and belongs to the thematic network on nonlinear dynamics DANCE.
