Brief CV

 

Joana Salazar Noguera holds a PH Doctoral Thesis on English Phylology. She has participated in several European research groups and has created educative websites to promote multicultural understanding. She has also taught at secondary education for eleven years and has published on the adequacy of EFL (English as a Foreign Language) methodologies in the Spanish educative context. At present, she is the president of the Association of Teacher Education in Europe (ATEE) and coordinates the ATEE Research Development Community on Secondary Teacher Education. Her most recent publications are a co-edited book entitled 'Content-based language learning in multilingual educational environments' (Juan-Garau, M. and Salazar-Noguera, J. Eds.), Springer in press, and a book chapter entitled 'English L2 learners' léxico-grammatical and motivational development at home and abroad' in Pérez-Vidal (Ed.) Language Acquisition in Stdudy Abroad and Formal Instruction Contexts, John Benjamins 2014. In 2002 she published the following books 'Metodología de la enseñanza-aprendizaje de la lengua inglesa a través de los textos literarios' and 'Experimenting with language. Activities to learn English'. In 2009 she co-edited the following book 'Apendizaje integrado de lengua inglesa y contenidos multiculturales online' (Salazar-Noguera y Juan-Garau, Eds.).
