MARIA LLOMPART BIBILONI born in Palma de Mallorca in 1963, Diploma in Business (UIB 1984), BA in Economics (UNED 1988) and PhD from the Universitat de les Illes Balears (2003). After several years working in private companies in 1990 began teaching at the UIB, and is currently professor of this university, teaching graduate and undergraduate.
It is attached to the Department of Business Economics in particular to the area of financial economics and accounting, and has been committed to teaching Management Accounting.
His research has shifted largely to the History of Accounting in the Middle Ages, dealing his doctoral thesis on 'A historical analysis of the Attorney-accountant of the Royal Heritage in the Kingdom of Mallorca, period 1310-1330. It is also the author of 'The Treasury of the Kingdom of Mallorca during its heyday.
He has published several articles and has participated in conferences national and international, all within the field of Management Accounting and Accounting History.
