Brief CV

My teaching focuses on psychopathology, assessment and intervention in childhood behavior disorders, especially in Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). My research activity has also focused on ADHD: adaptation and development of scales and neuropsychological tasks, analysis of its implications, and efficacy y efectividad studies of alternative treatments such as neurofeedback or cognitive skills improvement programs. In the last 10 years the research has focused specifically on the Sluggish Cognitive Tempo (SCT), collaborating with researchers and teams leaders in this line. The transfer of knowledge has been carried out from the Child Psychological Counseling Unit (UAPI). This unit is dedicated to general counseling on child behavior problems for parents and educators, and specifically to the assessment and diagnosis of ADHD and related disorders.
