Juan G. March Isern (Alaró, Majorca (Spain), October 1958) received his M.Sc. degree (1980) and Ph.D. degree in Chemistry (1983) at the University of Balearic Islands (Spain). He was post-doctoral fellow at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles (1985) and at the Center for Energy Research, Environment and Technology, Madrid (1986).
Nowadays, he is Full Professor of Analytical Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry since 2009, and member of the research group Environmental Analytical Chemistry. He has six five-year recognized teaching periods and six six-year recognized research periods. He has been involved in twelve competitive research projects, being the main researcher in two of them. He has supervised five Ph.D. students. He is co-author of two book chapters, 113 peer reviewed papers (h-index: 25) and 73 communications in congresses or scientific meetings.
