Dr. Concha Zaforteza (RN, MSc, PhD)

Since 2001, I am associate professor at the Facultat and Departament d'Infermeria i Fisioteràpia (Universitat de les Illes Balears). I am involved in Nursing and Medicine Degree and Master courses, the former related to adult care and management and the later to qualitative research methodologies.

I am researcher, member of the Grup d'Investigació Crítica en Salut/ Critical Health Research Group (GICS-IUNICS) and CurES Research Group (Institut d'Investigació Sanitària de les Illes Balears-IdISBa). I am interested in developing the care offered to critical care patients' relatives, from a patient and family centered care. In addition, I am exploring the use of participatory methodologies (i.e. participatory action research) for knowledge transfer and clinical practice change.
