Born in Maó (Menorca, 1973). Professor in the Department of Business Economics at the University of the Balearic Islands. Degree in Economics and Business from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (1995). PhD in Economics and Business from the University of the Balearic Islands (2003).

Assistant Lecturer at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Teaching experience in undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate studies in economics and business subjects. She has been co-director of the Master's Degree in Tourism Management and Planning.

Researcher specializing in issues related to innovation and tourism for competitiveness and sustainability. She has published her research in leading national and international academic journals indexed in the JCR. She has participated as a researcher in national and regional competitive research projects since 1999. She has carried out research stays at Carlos III University (Madrid), Roskilde University Center (Denmark) and Innsbruck University (Austria).
