University Professor of Administrative Law (Department of Public Law). She joined the UIB in 1994. PhD in Law in 1998. She is also a University Specialist in Urban Law and Territory Planning (1994). She obtained a scholarship (1995) for a one-year research stay at the University of Nanterre and the Sorbonne in Paris. It deals with the line of research related to land management, urban planning, tourism and the environment, which have made possible its participation as a speaker in numerous national and international congresses. In 2001 she published the book La ordenación de las zonas turísticas litorales. She also focuses on other legal areas, such as public services, the regime of administrative acts, administrative organization, regional public law, local law, the means of administrative intervention, regulatory powers, public space, housing and tourist rental, on which she has written numerous articles in specialized and recognized journals of Administrative Law. She has published five more books (2006: Foundations of the public sector; 2008: Institutional Administration; 2014: Local Law of the Balearic Islands; 2020: The City of the 21st Century: Transformations and Challenges; 2021: Environmental Urbanism and Climate Change: the Sustainable Tourism City). Her teaching profile revolves around Administrative Law in the Faculty of Law and Tourism. In 1999, she was Secretary of the Tourism Commission in charge of drafting the Tourism Studies Plan. Between 2007 and 2011 she held the positions of Director General of Relations with the Parliament and of Normative Coordination of the Ministry of Presidency of the Government of the Balearic Islands, as well as Secretary General of the same Ministry. She is currently Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Law. She is also Director of the University Master's Degree in Legal Practice and Procurement (UIB-ICAIB-ICPIB). She has also held the position of Director of the Master in Public Policy Management at the UIB. She has been principal investigator, as well as collaborating researcher, of several research projects of State Programs of Research, Development and Innovation of the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness. He is a member of the Spanish Association of Professors of Administrative Law.
