Curriculum: Eduardo Ramon Ribas (Ibiza, 1970). A graduate in Law from the Universitat de les Illes Balears (1993), is University Specialist in Criminology (1992-1994) and in Criminal Law and Criminal Sciences (1998-2000), and Doctor of Public Law (1999).
He has taught since 1994, of the subjects Criminal Law I; Criminal Law II; Prison Law; Criminal law and fundamental rights; Criminal Law and Criminology Economic (Law Degree); Criminal Law Social (School of Labor Relations, 1994-2013); Criminal law: concept and theory of the crime; Legal Consequences of the crime and crimes against personal property; Crimes against property and against Heritage Supraindividuals; Constitutional Guarantees and Criminal Law (Law Degree); Criminal Law and Gender-based violence (Master University Policies on Equality and Gender Violence Prevention) and Criminal Law (Master's Degree in Legal Profession of the UIB and ICAIB).
He is currently Professor of Criminal Law (2004) and Vice-dean of the Faculty of Law (2004). He has been Director of the Graduate in Security and Police Sciences UIB (2005-2013) and Alternate Judge of the Provincial Court of Palma de Mallorca (1999-2013). Has offered numerous conferences and participated, as a teacher, in several master's degrees and courses, having taught, also, in several Phd courses in the third cycle program of the Department of Public Law. Has over seventy publications, including five papers, four of which as sole author: The crime of get injured the fetus (Comares, Grenada 2002); Gender Violence and Domestic Violence (Tirant lo Blanch, Valencia 2008); the legal person in the Criminal Law (Comares, Grenada 2009) and minority of age, sex and Criminal Law (Aranzadi, Pamplona 2013).
