Brief CV
After obtaining her PhD from the University of Barcelona (1993), Margalida Pons pursued further study and research (M.A.) in Comparative Literature at Indiana University (Bloomington, IN). She has written a number of studies on Catalan Literature, with special focus on 20th century poetry and experimental narratives. She leads the research group LiCETC, which focuses on literary experimentation and interdiciplinarity. She has also been visiting professor at Brown University (Providence, RI) (2009) and Stanford University (CA) (2011), and Batista i Roca Fellow at Fitzwilliam College, University of Cambridge (2019).
