Additionally, he has co-authored Criminal Law manuals and legislative commentaries. As Principal Investigator or as part of the research team, he has consistently participated in various research projects secured through public competitive calls (National Plan). Throughout his career, he has undertaken research stays in Germany (Institut für Kriminologie und Wirtschaftsstrafrecht; Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Criminal Law) and Italy (European University Institute; Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia). He has also served as a Substitute Magistrate at the Provincial Court of the Balearic Islands (2001-2014) and held the position of Secretary-General at the University of the Balearic Islands.
