Dr. Carola de Benito holds a M.S. in physics (1991) and a Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering (2010), both from the University of Balearic Island (UIB, Spain). Currently, she is an Associate Professor in the Electronic Systems Group (GSE) of the Industrial and Construction Engineering Department, UIB. She has been involved on teaching in this University since 1997.

Her research interests was focused on device and circuit modeling low-temperature CMOS design (thesis topic) , and in the last years in temperature sensors, NEMS´s, TFT's, OTFT's, non-conventional computing systems, and memristor device and memristive system modeling. Actually she is focused on memristor device and memristive system modeling taking advantage of the knowledge gained in modeling, computer systems, data processing.
