Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança – School of Health, Portugal (2003–2007).

Official Master’s Degree in Public Health from the Public University of Navarre (2021).

Currently a PhD candidate in Global Health, Health Services, and Social Care.

Additional training in Acupuncture and Phytotherapy between 2011 and 2016 at the University of Chinese Medicine of Lisbon (Portugal). Since 2023, she continues her studies in the Bachelor’s Degree in Acupuncture at the Jean Piaget Institute – School of Health in Vila Nova de Gaia (Portugal).

In December 2023, she obtained official certification as an acupuncturist from the Portuguese Ministry of Health (License No. C-0051443), a qualification regulated within the national legal framework.

From 2008 to 2012, she worked as a family nurse in Primary Care at Health Centers in Vila Nova de Gaia (Porto, Portugal).

Between 2016 and 2020, she was involved in clinical practice and health management in Porto and Mogadouro, focusing on complementary therapies within a regulated context.

Since the 2022/2023 academic year, she has been an assistant lecturer in the Department of Nursing and Physiotherapy at the University of the Balearic Islands, teaching in the subjects Clinical Practice II (22720) and Clinical Practice III (22725).

During the 2023/2024 academic year, she has taught Clinical Practice II (22720), Clinical Practice III (22725), and Adult V (22722). She currently continues to teach in the latter course.
