Curriculum
Brief CV
I'm mesmerized by eyes: shapes, colors, sizes, photoreceptors, development, evolution... you name it. Eyes are diverse and absolutely incredible! Which is why I have been builting my knowledge and research in the area of evolution and developmental biology, with an emphasis on eco-evo-devo and diversity of vertebrate eyes.
I have a Master in Zoology and experience in varied molecular biology techniques, including library preparation and handling of different sequencing platforms. I also went through an intense training in bioinformatics, with a focus on transcriptomics. These tools and techniques help me understanding how eyes develop in different ecological contexts, inferring evolutionary changes and possible adaptations.
