Rafel Perelló holds a BSc in Physics by the UIB (2014) and a MEng in Electronic Engineering by UPC (2016). Also, he obtained his PhD in Electronic Engineering by the UIB (2021) and is with Electronic Systems Group. His research interests are CMOS-MEMS resonators for biosensing applications, likewise studying new transduction techniques based on piezoelectric materials. He has carried out two research stays at the University of Florida with the Integrated Microsystems Group (IMG) working on the Lab-on-Chip integration of CMOS microelectronic chips within microfluidics platforms. Now, he is an Associate Professor at UIB.
