I am currently Associate Professor at the University of the Balearic Islands. I hold a PhD in Health and Sport Psychology (2018).

I am a member of the Institute for Sport Research (IRE) at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. My main line of research focuses on the study of different personal and environmental factors that influence athletes’ psychological well-being, both in performance and sport initiation contexts.

Regarding research, I have participated in 7 international projects and 5 national projects related to these topics and have published more than 20 papers in indexed journals. At an applied level, I collaborate with various sports clubs and institutions interested in incorporating sport psychology into their organizational practices.

In the teaching field, over the past years I have taught extensively in the area of basic psychology, including courses on various fundamental psychological processes (e.g., Thinking and Language, Attention and Perception, Motivation and Emotion) in the Bachelor’s Degrees in Psychology, Physical Activity and Sport Sciences, and Speech Therapy.

On a personal level, I am an enthusiastic person, open to new ideas, and eager to collaborate on new projects.
