Antoni Vaello-Sebastià
Born in La Vila Joiosa (1977). Associate Professor of the Business Economics Department. PhD in Quantitative finance from the University of the Basque Country (2009). Degree in Economics by the University of Alicante (2001). FPI scholarship of the Spanish Ministry of Science and Technology (2003-2005).
Lecturer at the University of Alicante (2005-07) and Open University of Catalonia (since 2010). Visiting Scholar at Anderson School of Management at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA - 2010).
Research interests in derivatives, numerical methods for their valuation and financial econometrics, with publications in the Journal of Banking and Finance, Finance Research Letters, Journal of financial economics, European Journal of Operational Research and Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control. Also a book chapter published by Thomson-Aranzadi.
Teaching experience at Bachelor and Master degrees at the universities of Alicante, Balearic Islands, Autónoma de Barcelona and Navarra, teaching courses on Financial Accounting, Mathematical Finance, Financial Economics, Corporate Finance and Derivatives.
Finally, he has also joined several research groups granted by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science, Government of the Valencia Country, Government of the Basque Country and University of Alicante.
