Llorenç Femenias (Palma, 1995) is Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Economics at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB). He graduated in Economics from the Pompeu Fabra University (2018) and has a master's degree in Tourism Economics specializing in economic evaluation techniques from the UIB (2019). Doctorate candidate in Environmental Economics (UIB), his research focus on the methods of economic valuation of the environment and the environmental impacts of tourism.
Currently, he teaches the subject of Environmental Economics in the Degree in Economics and in the Double degree: Degree in Economics and Degree in Tourism. He develops his professional career as an economic analyst in matters related to regional competitiveness and sustainability.
