Brief CV
Emilio García received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Computer Science from the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), in 2007 and 2011, respectively. In September 2016, he received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the same university. He develops his research activity within the Systems, Robotics, and Vision (SRV) group.
His research interests include mobile robotics, topological mapping, appearance-based scene recognition, visual/LiDAR SLAM and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV's). He has worked on several projects related to robotics and computer vision.
Since 2013, he is an assistant professor at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science.
